Standing teaches us to become emotionally stable; Standing firm and solid upon unshakeable ground. Because details will come and uproot us and for a time, we will get tossed about wildly. But we will REGAIN that stability once our eyes rest upon Him and we fasten again to our Anchor!

“and he will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is Zion’s treasure,” Isaiah 33:6.

We know details come with a powerful impact on feelings that say “That’s it!! I quit; this is too much. I don’t think this is what God wants for me. This can’t be His will. This is never going to change, and it’s getting worse.”

These details speak loud and clear the message of the world and are very persuasive to go against the reasons we Stand and fight for our lost beloveds and marriage.

But we don’t have to listen and embrace it. Many have quit and walked away from what God has called them to do because they allowed the details to drown out the will, plan, and purpose God has for them. Details will offer a way out and relief from the pain. “They just got married, you are now free.” is what details will shout!

When the details scream loudly at you, you don’t need to shout back. A steady, stable, FIRM hold upon WHO God is can help you regain your footing. Being consistent and mindful of what thoughts you are allowing yourself to entertain is key. Replacing them with truth and the Word of God.

“Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NKJV)

Reminding yourself that God is Standing for the restoration and reconciliation of His lost child. He loves marriage and designed it to be “until death do you part.” Suffering is NOT a reason to stop, as God calls us into a time of suffering. Whatever revelations God revealed to you about your Stand, use them against the details to make them diminish.

That is how we remain anchored to our Anchor and emotionally stable against the power presented in the details!

“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and steadfast,” Hebrews 6:19

Standing with you,
