What do you do when God is silent? When all of a sudden you feel lost with no direction? When you are asking, seeking, knocking, but God is not directing you?

You Stand on TRUST!

Because guess what? He IS directing you. God’s silence speaks! Even His silence gives counsel, teaches, and grows us! His silence is a compelling method that gets us to explore and pursue Him in ways we would not naturally take. It makes us DIG DEEP to know Him better, so we CAN be confident that He IS trustworthy. Trust is not something that most of us do naturally. Especially those of you who don’t trust easily.

In this time of Standing on trust, you will be forced to make choices. To trust Him and be like a tree planted and not only standing firm, but being NOURISHED during a time of drought to where you produce fruit!

But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is Him. 8He will be like a tree planted by the waters that sends out its roots toward the stream. It does not fear when the heat comes, and its leaves are always green. It will not worry in a year of drought or cease producing fruit. Jeremiah 17: 7

If you don’t trust Him and take matters into your own hands, no good fruit will come. And you will have missed out on a vast opportunity of growing deeper in your relationship with God.

When all seems lost, bleak, and downright scary, you CAN stand on trust because He is faithful.

The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 BSB

One of the things that caused me to fall in love with God was the profound revelation that God was the ONLY one I could trust completely. His heart, His motive, His intentions for me were PURE and would never be anything but that. I could trust Him, that even the hardships, even though painful, were meant to benefit me. I had to believe in that – or nothing about God made sense.Even when I felt lost, forgotten, and harmed – trusting Him led me to experience His love in ways I never could before.

Trust OPENED THE DOOR TO LOVE! And that love opened the door to healing!

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 ESV

There is something beautiful that happens to us when we are standing on trust. Not only does it expose all the things within us that prevent us from knowing God, but it also reveals things that block LOVE. You cannot fully love God if you don’t trust Him.

Why is it so hard to trust?

When we are asked to trust the most is the time when information and understanding are being withheld from us. This temporary state of blindness makes us feel very vulnerable.  But, this is a conversion place. Sometimes the best way to learn how to trust God fully is through an experience where you have no choice but to.

The rewards of trust are beyond our comprehension.

  • BLESSINGS- LORD Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you. Psalm 84:12
  • ADOPTION- But I trust in you, LORD; I say, “You are my God.” Psalm 31:14

  • OVERFLOWINGMay the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Romans 15:13
  • MADE KNOWNthe Lord is good, a strength and stronghold in the day of trouble, He knows (recognizes, has knowledge of and understands) those who take refuge and trust in Him. Nahum 1:7 ampc
