Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. Habakkuk 2:4

God’s Word tells us when we look at their lives we are to see they are living a crooked life. But what happens to some, is they don’t know what crooked is because they have been acclimated to the world’s design and taught what happiness looks like. Blessed is not we think.

On our website, we have an article called “Is My Spouse being Blessed by God?”  This article will help you understand the difference between a happy life, and a life blessed by God. We are to live set apart from the world. Recognizing the world’s design is an enemy to the Christian.

Woe (judgment is coming) to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20

We wear God out when we cry to Him and accuse Him of blessing those that are crooked.

You have tried the patience of the LORD with your words. But you ask, “How have we tried his patience?” When you say, “Everyone who does evil is considered good by the LORD. He is pleased with them,” or “Where is the God of justice?” Malachi 2:17

We won’t get led astray by the World when we let the Word of God transform our minds and hearts and set us apart in our belief, understanding, and knowledge of Him. We won’t fall for the lies that our spouses are ok in their sins because they are happy. We won’t become angry and upset with the Lord thinking He is pleased and blessing those who are far from His ways and will because everything they are doing looks like it’s being blessed. The enemy is great at ‘blessing’ too and keeping people fat and happy with distractions so they don’t need Him.

Don’t fall for the lies. Don’t let what they have, bring your faith down.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor 15:58
