In our effort to encourage men who are Standing for the healing and restoration of their wives, marriages, and family, we are collecting testimonies from Standing women who were once the spouse that was lost until God changed their hearts. There is a lie that is being circulated that once a wife leaves her husband and marriage, that they don’t return. The standing groups are FULL of women who did return, only to find their husband had moved on, they are now standing! Wives DO RETURN!

My testimony I have shared before, you can hear it on YouTube, but I want to give my brothers in Christ encouragement who are thinking of giving up their stand on believing nothing will change the heart of their wives.

 I hated my husband with a passion, he repulsed me, I couldn’t look at a photo of him, it would physically make me feel sick, I had so much hatred for him.

 I left the home believing it was the best thing to do. I couldn’t get out quick enough, asking my husband every day if he contacted the solicitor for a financial separation. Finally, it came through and I was free to leave the home, going straight into buying a house and land package, I moved in with my parents, waiting for my house to be built.

 During my stay at mum and dads house I had an encounter with God, God unveiled my eyes and exposed ALL of my sinful ugly ways to me, He revealed my selfishness, hatred, pride, unforgivness, and most of all the way I treated my husband.

 I can tell you something, seeing all of my sins in front of me, completely broke me, it totally shattered my heart and life.

As each sin was exposed to me I repented from it, it was like the layer of an onion, bit by bit I became unraveled and had nowhere to hide.

 Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. Psalm 51:10

 But an amazing thing started to happen to me, God started to heal my heart piece by piece, filling it with His love, His forgiveness, His grace, His mercy, and a hope like nothing I have ever felt before, that God will restore my marriage, but most of all restore my husband to His kingdom again.

 “Come, let us return to the LORD; for he has torn us, that he may heal us; he has struck us down, and he will bind us up. Hosea 6:1

 Four years on I stand strong unwavering and fully believing with all my heart that not only He has restored me to Himself He will also restore my husband to Himself.

 God can do all things if you believe.
