God Gives us Power, Love, and Sound Mind! 2 Timothy 1:7

Love – Agape love is selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love.

Sound mind -discipline, i.e. self-control.

The spirit God has given us has miraculous power and strength, unconditional love, and self-control.

When you don’t think you stand a minute more, God’s spirit gives you a miraculous power to keep standing.

When you don’t think you can love through one more hurtful word or heartbreaking situation, God’s spirit gives you an unconditional love to keep loving.

When you don’t think you can keep your mouth shut a second more, when you don’t think you can resist the temptations of the flesh, God’s spirit gives you self control.

He has given us His spirit to be able to walk this walk. His power. His love. His self-control. Enabling us to continue to do His good pleasure.

We can live under the spirit of fear – the words they throw at us, the person they are involved in, Fear of whatever might be coming at you today. Or we can rise up and walk in the spirit God has given us. The choice is ours. And it is choice, we can choose fear or God but not both. Fear, this scripture says, did not come from Him. Don’t let something that is not of Him run your life.
