Wife’s Prayer for her Lost Husband-Battering Ram Prayer-Restoration

Father, God Use ME!

Use my prayers for my husband as a battering ram in the spiritual realm to tear down strongholds over my husband’s heart and mind.
Create in me, through the transforming power of your Word, the kind of heart that draws my husband from the ways of the world, from temptations, lust, sins, immorality and impurity and show him YOU. Let my heart, my love, my actions, humility all reflect You. Make me a tool of reconciliation, peace, and healing in this marriage. Instead of a tool for the enemy to divide us.  Protect my heart from those things that would open the door to the enemy using me through pride, anger, hurt, offense. 

Show my husband Who You are. Teach him Your way so that he will walk in Your truth. Give him an undivided heart; not entertaining both good and evil. Let him desire what You desire, love what You love, want what You want. In the same way, let him come to hate and put off all that You hate. Bring his heart into alignment with Your heart. 

Heal him from his past pain and wounds.
Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for you are my praise. Jeremiah 17:14 CSB

Let him desire to work for you, not for the world. Let his heart find no rest or comfort from things that lead him away from you. Let his contentment and peace come only from time spent with You, and as he comes into alignment with Your will for his life.

Don’t work only while being watched, as people-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, do God’s will from your heart. Ephesians 6:6 CSB

As my husband works, Lord, I pray that his job will not become his security, his identity, but that is only made real in You. I pray You protect and watch over, and guard who he is in You letting nothing steal from him that he is You son. 
I claim freedom from bondage and freedom from darkness in Jesus name! Amen
